This form establishes the terms for establishing a consulting relationship between the parties to advance the Client's personal, professional and/or educational goals and maximize the Client's personal and/or professional potential through stimulating and creative interactions with the final result.

Quality and Scope

​

Advisor.  Dr. Seda Akçakoca provides individual coaching and/or consultancy to help Clients develop and implement personal satisfaction strategies. The service provided is not psychological counseling or psychotherapy; creating/achieving personal, professional and educational goals, etc. It should be perceived as a professional assistance relationship designed for In cases that require professional psychological help, guidance is given so that the relevant expert can evaluate. If the Client is under the care of a mental health professional, the Client and Counselor Dr. It is recommended that Seda Akçakoca immediately inform her mental health provider about the nature and scope of her agreed relationship. Client acknowledges that counseling cannot be used as a substitute for professional advice from legal, medical, financial, business, spiritual or other qualified professionals.

 

Sessions.  Sessions take place at mutually determined times and in mutually determined online environments.(Zoom, Skype, Teams, Google Meet, etc.) is done. Between multiple consecutive sessions, direct communication is made with the Client through the mobile application determined by GroWithin and provided to the Client free of charge. In this way, the communication between the Counselor and the Client is not limited to sessions, but various science-based resources, tools and exercises that will support the client's development are shared with the client. In this way, the Client continues to experience the points discussed during the session and it is aimed to make it easier for the Client to take action. In addition, e-mail ping-pong is eliminated and end-to-end encryption makes it possible to chat securely with the Client online.

The duration of each session is minimum 45 minutes and maximum 60 minutes. For multiple sessions, the initial session usually lasts 90 minutes. The initial session includes the Counselor and the Client meeting, adapting to each other and planning the process. After the initial session, session intervals are determined according to the client's needs. Continuity is essential in consultancy service. The Client is obliged to attend the number of sessions determined together. The consultant has the will to terminate his/her service unilaterally at any time he/she wishes if he/she believes that he/she cannot be useful in the service he/she provides. In this case, from the total fee paid for multiple sessions, the balance fee will be refunded to the Client as of the termination date. If the client decides to terminate the service relationship before completing the number of sessions within the agreed consultancy service package, no refund will be made.

24 Hour Rule

​

If there is less than 24 hours left before the start of the session, the full fee for that session will be charged for postponements requested by the Client. If the Consultant requests a session postponement when there is less than 24 hours before the start of the session, the Client will be charged half the fee for the next session. Delay to Session

If the Client is more than 10 minutes late for the session, the Counselor may assume that the session has been canceled and The fee for the session in question is non-refundable.

Such records will be maintained by the Consultant in a format of the Consultant's choosing (print or digital/electronic) for a period of not less than 1 year. The client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance, and make the time and energy to fully participate in the program to enhance the counseling relationship. The client is directly personally responsible for his decisions, choices and initiatives. Third parties cannot be present during the sessions.

Limited Liability

​

The Consultant makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the consultancy services discussed, agreed upon and provided. In no event will the Counselor be liable to the Client for any direct, indirect or special damages. Regardless of any damages that the Client may suffer, the entire liability of the Consultant under this Agreement and the exclusive remedy of the Consultant will be limited to 20% of the amounts paid by the Client to the Consultant for all consultancy services until the termination date of the service.
